HR Generalist

Our client is an important international company specializing in Information Technology and Design sector. For their offices in Málaga, we are currently looking for a HR Generalist.

He/she will provide high quality operational HR advice across the full range of the employee life cycle in order to support managers, and the wider HR team, achieve the desired business goals, values and culture.

The candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Compensation and Benefits
  • Administration of payroll
  • Administration of benefits
  • Liaising with Managers, Recruitment, and HR Business Partners to provide advice on, market data and internal relativities, using appropriate data and tools.
  • Coach and support managers with the application of internal policy and frameworks.
HR Advice & Coaching
  • Liaise with External Legal Counsel and payroll  on set up new employees, terminations, maternity permits, etc
Talent, Learning and Development
  • Contribute to the identification, development and retention of key talent across teams
  • Participate actively and contribute in the constant improvement of the onboarding and inboarding processes.
Organisation Design, Change Management, & Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute with the broader HR team to the development and delivery of structural, cultural and behavioural plans in pursuit of business strategy.
  • Support, and participate in change initiatives using the appropriate tools to ensure consistency through the change processes.
  • Actively look for opportunities to improve HR process, systems and delivery to ensure we are ahead of the curve, proactively suggesting new ideas.
  • Keep up to date with new trends in HR best practice.
The sucessfull candidate will possess the following capabilities:
  • 5-6 years’ related HR experience in a multilingual environment
  • Relaciones Laborales Graduate or equivalent expertise in Employment Law.
  • Proven experience in coordination and facilitation of payroll and benefits
  • Knowledge and understanding of current Employment Law and other HR related legislation.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills and
  • Strong influencing skills and negotiation skills
  • Solid work ethics
  • Collaborative
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to provide sound judgment
  • High degree of adaptability and flexibility to change
  • Excellent computer skills. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word. HRIS.
  • Flexible with work schedule and assignments
  • Complete fluency in English, both written and spoken is essential
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, results orientated
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
